Love Trends 1st edition

To show this creative process, its promoters created Love Trends Mallorca #lovetrendsmca, a bridal shooting to show the trends in the sector. This story was written as if it were a wedding, putting the ideas together, finding the style and from there we worked on finding the suppliers and professionals that would fit in with the story. In this first shooting, as you can see, two different wedding styles were chosen: a romantic one and a bohemian one.

The wedding venue is one of the most important choices, so we carefully chose a space that combined elegance and nature, and at the same time we could see the essence of our island. The place chosen was the Hotel S’Olivaret, a small rural hotel in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana, equipped for large and small events. Different areas of the hotel were used, from the bride’s dressing room, to the elegant and intimate dining room where a romantic and baroque wedding table was set up and the Sollerich terrace with stunning mountain views where the rustic wedding took place with a finger food cocktail prepared by the hotel’s chef.

Just like in a wedding, all the suppliers received the timing of the event with their roles. The day began in the intimacy of the bridal suite with the hairstyling session by Nhoa Estilistas, where Ana was in charge of creating the two hairstyles, an updo with curls and a jewelled headdress in gold by ArtJoana for the elegant bride and an informal half updo with a crown of preserved flowers (also by ArtJoana) for the bohemian bride. The touch of colour was provided by the sweet Vannesa of VannesaMakeup, who did the brides’ make-up to match the tones and style of each bride, giving freshness and illumination to their skin.

After the hairdressing and make-up sessions it was time to dress the brides, both in Mundo Novias dresses, where Reme and Isabel gave advice throughout the whole process of choice giving their point of view as professionals in the sector. The lingerie and accessories were taken care of by El Corte Inglés, which has the BodaMás section, a showcase of bridal inspiration, wedding lists and the perfect honeymoon. Finally, the bride and groom met in the spaces chosen for the photo shoot and a decoration project was created by Juliet’s, who were in charge of the setting, choosing the colour range, lighting and tableware. The floral decoration was worked on hand in hand with the artists from DeBlanc – your inspiration, who are perfectly aware of the trends in the sector due to their extensive experience in the world of floral art and who captured them so well both in the bride’s bouquet and in the centre of the baroque table for the romantic session, choosing the best tones and flowers for the occasion.

Another important moment in the organisation of the wedding is the choice of the photographer, as it will be the memory that will last in time. For this occasion, Pere i Marga photographers were chosen for their professionalism, simplicity in their work and efficiency in delivering the material. There has to be a special feeling with the photographer from the very first moment, as he or she will be in charge of immortalising your story, and that is what Love Trends Mallorca did.
